Week of February 3rd

via

Happy Monday everyone!  Are you ready for more snow?!  Look's like Phil's predictions may be true.  Here are some happenings to distract you from that!

E N T E R T A I N M E N T
Very sad to read about the death of the talented Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Do you agree that the apartments on Girls seem pretty unattainable for the typical 20-something?  I loved this article on an architect's interpretation of how each floor plan would be laid out.

The lineup for the Boston Calling concert was recently announced for Memorial Day Weekend.  So nice that the city is hosting more events like this!  Will you be attending?

The big plans for South Station's upgrades have started with the addition of the branch of Tavern in the Square, which opened this past week.

M I S C E L L A N Y
Who was your favorite star of the Puppy Bowl XI?   I'd have to say Shyla or Hudson were mine...

A friend of ours sent a link with a calculator for how much time you have wasted on Facebook since joining.  Use it if you dare seek the confirmation of how much of a time suck it is...

S P O R T S
The leading lady of The League (one of my favorite TV shows) Katie Aselton breaks down her love for fantasy football.  I'd have to agree with her points, mainly #2.  I'm glad someone commented on the typo, that writer clearly isn't a true fan of The League!

Which Superbowl commercial was your favorite?  I was partial to one I saw even before the game, by Budweiser.

Have a great week, all!

  1. Hi! Thanks for mentioning our newest Tavern in the Square location, South Station. We actually had some minor delays and were not able to open last week as we'd hoped. We will be opening this week, any moment now.

You can follow us at https://www.facebook.com/TavernintheSquare.SouthStation or http://www.twitter.com/taverninthesq for updates on all of our happenings.

    Thanks again!
