The Week of September 9th

// via //
As you know, we had a full weekend!  Saturday brought on an early wake-up call but led to an amazing time and lots of laughs at Brimfield.  We haggled for and dug through various treasures for our hubitats, some of which made their debut via instagram.  Following tips from seasoned shoppers definitely helped us, and we can't wait to return in the spring!  If you went, we'd love to hear about it; comment or tweet at us!

Here is what's up for this week:

NYFW is still going strong!  Some of my favorite bloggers are posting amazing updates from infamous designer shows. There's a cohesive round-up here.

Did you miss the Great Gatsby when it hit theaters earlier this year?  Catch a free showing at the Pru as well as styling tips for you to try this fall at Back Bay Night Out.

One of my favorite wishlist-brands, Philip Lim, debuts his collaboration with Target on Sunday.  This might call for a trip to the suburbs to check out these pieces in person!

As you probably saw on our calendar, there is a free self-defense class in Copley Square on Thursday.  There's no time like the present for a city gal to learn how to protect herself!

Radio station Mix 104.1 is putting on its annual show at the Hatch Shell this weekend.  You'll get to see The Backstreet Boys, Gavin DeGraw, Of Monsters and Men for free!  Find all info here.

Some of us are heading up to Vermont this weekend to attend Grand Point North to see one of our favorite artists, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals.  She puts on an unforgettable performance and she'll be in her home state, with this show right on the water!  We've been looking forward to this for months!

The JUGs are now on facebook!  Be sure to "like" us in order to be updated on this platform for your morning commute so you never miss a post!

Learn more about social media and digital design while mingling with other gals in the marketing field, hosted by YWD.  We wish we could attend since we have enjoyed past events, but we'll catch you at the next one!

Denzel Washington and Jason Segal have been spotted in town during filming breaks.  Have you spotted either one of them?

Get excited, our "Who's That Gal" series continues in the coming days!  Have a great week, readers!
