Fashion is probably not the first thing that came to mind while reading Colum McCann's Let the Great World Spin, but after finishing the book, I started thinking about how the 1970s are relevant today. Last week, designers at New York Fashion Week showcased quite a few '70s inspired looks. All of a sudden, '70s florals and loose silhouettes are all over pinterest and fashion blogs. Long skirts and billowy sleeves are perfect for transitioning to fall. I also love the v-neck cuts, which are flattering on everyone!
