So your apartment isn't pet friendly and you don't have a yard to plant a garden...the solution? Succulents! These plants are fairly hardy and just need a bit of water and a decent amount of sunlight. They are an easy way to add a bit of life to any room. I just picked up a few baby cacti from Whole Foods in Beacon Hill earlier this week! I managed to overwater, and eventually kill my herb garden last year, so I am hoping that the succulents will be a little less needy - I will keep you posted (All gardening tips welcome!)
